Youtube also, has alot of people who don't like amvs in the first place plus the vids are flash and can't be dled for repetitive veiwing pleasure. Also, the don't have an integrated rating system like a-m-v.org and plus a-m-v.org bandwidth is suposed to be used by our amvs. You should read phade's profile then you'd understand why.

Or hell i could just tell you now! It's so that if you want to find an amv you can find THAT amv.

Yes, you can download them, but then you need to find a FLV viewer. Plus, as has been stated plenty of times, the quality is abysmal.

another thing is that it takes lionger to upload to youtube because of all the steps AND the fact that its uploaded using the upload command instead of an ftp. also some firewalls block the upload command(mine) and im not endagerin my computer for an amv i can safely put on the org.

That's not hard, and I post the link for the benefit of people who find things on those sites that they can't find anywhere else, and to correct misinformation such as the above.
