Regarding the earlier comment quoting my comment "I'm not necessarily looking for special effects across the board, I'm talking about original artistic design. This is a lot more than white flashes, wipes and other canned effects" is just that, NOT ready-made graphics/effects. You can plunk down some unique masks and shapes and things with or without canned effects and point to having made something completely original.

I'm not looking to whip out a Greed vs. Envy vid, here, a la Illustrator or something. Most of what people have posted has been pretty much the kind of exploratory AMVing I was interested in, to one extent or another. All good idea fodder, that's for sure. *goes back to busily downloading suggestions* This is good stuff, people. Anyone who's itching to see some unconventional AMVs, check them out!
