sorry to double post, but to add to my above post:
Yes there are lots, tons in fact of horrible amvs, but then look at movies/music/books. There are probably just as many of these that arnt worth your time watching/listening/reading them and yet people continue to take their time seeing them (even the bad ones) and enjoy themselves. Entertainment is entertainment, it doesnt need to be Shakespear or Lord of the Rings in order for you to be able to enjoy it.

This guy doesn't mention the site so I'm guessing he gets all his videos from the tube. When I look for videos there, generally they are really bad 90% of the time, though when I look here in the announcement thread most of the time I'm enjoying the video. So that destroys his merit if it's found out he's basing this off of the tube.. and to say 1 in a thousand says he's had an addiction to use such huge numbers, but if he doesn't like them that much how in the hell could he get to a thousand? He has good points, but everyone has a good point or two about amvs and your typical rational human being. He does seem to exaggerate. For every one decent video there are thousands of terrible ones,

That really isnt Irony.BasharOfTheAges wrote:The ironic thing is that whining about the lack of originality that we as a species have is itself very non-unique. People have been saying and writing that for decades.

Back to the creative element, There are plenty of really creative people doing really creative things, but poeple as a group hate change and want to see the same thing over and over again, so we shun or sue those trying to be creative do something dfferent. It's sad really.
