I'm Italian/Irish, a straight 50/50 mix.
I know practically nothing about my Irish ancestry. My grandfather was an orphan, and all he knew about himself and his brother was that they were a) Irish and b) *most likely* named Dooley.
My Italian heritage is a bit more varied. My great-grandfather fled Italy with my great-grandmother, they were escaping for two reasons. First, my great-grandmother was the daughter of a powerful "connected" man, and there was a contract on my great-grandfather for eloping with her. Second, he was an anarchist and Mussolini was imprisoning and killing all the anarchists. So they fled to America, where my great-grandfather made his money bootlegging gin.
I also claim my interest in editing and such from him, he made a home movie about his life (grealtly colorized I'm sure) with one of the first home movie cameras called "Gone with The Gin". We still have copies of it and we show it at the family reunion every 5 years. (Last one had over 300 people).

ok again we're having a problem here. i am not a cowboy nor is my wife a horse. we are simply two people trying to have sex in an elementary school Cafeteria.
An ocean of dust and randomly strung together pieces of hydrogen, serving no purpose other than allowing all of us to continue in our misery, doomed to an enternity of petty squabbles and meaningless ego trips, until the whole thing one day explodes and starts the whole shebang all over again. - Chaos_Angel

FRIESIAN!!
ok you FORCED me! My momma was AZN/ Hawaiian (and she SWEARS she's Irish???) My poppa's German mostly, Friesian acturally. So that makes me one HELLUVA stud who don't care where he came from ;-p. I drop the Friesian part into random conversations cuz my last name is Fries (there's also a Friesland... yes, very cold and ruled by Batman freaks ;-p) but anyway.
