It becomes much more useful once you are a donator...

It is somewhat useless if you don't rate accurately, but I guess most people do since I still get fairly good results when using the Suggestion Query: Method 2
hmmm suggestion query, forgot they existed

While I love getting opinions, I personally losely base how well my videos are doing by the stars as most of my videos have been up for nearly a year and don't get any reviews. This is blamed partly on myself for not getting out there and promoting myself, but I always feel awkward going out and saying: OMG WATCH MY VIDEOS! As I know I'm only avarge and I'm always worried people will expect so much if I promote my own work - but I realize now that if I want to get even one opinion - even just a quick one, I really need to promote myself.

So my suggestion is to kinda go by the star rating, but I know at least three people loosely who give a one star on even the BEST videos out there because they themselves don't take the stars seriously and just quickly leave a star without thinking because they want the option off their members screen. Don't stress about it too much, but don't completely say it's worthless.

 Wa! Eyes sads.

XD But seriously, try not to worry too much about the stars, unless you're like me and it's hard to get any opinions just take them as a very lose system.

Bah, who needs stars? They can't be trusted, a naruto vid i did to disturbed in wmm like 3 years ago with subs is getting 3.75 while my newer vids are getting around 3.

There are too many variables to trust them. Remember, your doing this for fun, ur not making videos for others. If you like it, then it's a good video. :D

Maybe you are, but don't make it out like everyone has that goal in mind.

Me? To entertain others. I hardly find anything fun after doing it for a while - that's why I don't like spending money on things like games.

Also, most people aren't honest enough to admit to it, but i'd wager a guess a good number of people want to become "famous" in some sort of limited sense - to gain some sort of self-worth. And more than a few people must think of it as gateway into real editing in some way.
