What type of video do you hate to edit?

Pretty much the same...but I am kind of changing....I kind of don't mind doing action vids (I don't like doing the random ones). Mainly because I've been getting up beat songs in my ICs lately...so I've gotten to the point at witch I really don't like doing any type of video in particular yet...so I guess this year I plan on Fanning out into other categories (Categories I edit all depend on my mood...mostly sentimental and "other") XD I HATE ROTOSCOPING. If I can get around it I do....but soon I know I'm going to have to accept the fact that I must and start doing it...

I think i have problems with story genres and use of lots of effects and frame by frame editing...

instrumental - i prefer to have some sort of lyrics (doesnt have to be english) to sync to, it makes it much easier for me to have an image to build off, rather than just music

I'm completly in love with instrumentals....I really like it when there are no lyrics to sync to =D
On the other hand I hated everything I edited so far >_>
With the one exception of my RE4 track for the Project FMV, I really loved editing it

Probably dramatic videos. I find that when I try to edit those, I keep making long fades, and it ends up being very boring. But if I make hard cuts, then the video doesn't seem right.

That wasn't a comedy...well not explicitly a comedy, it was mostly a "fun" or "Character profile"

-Effects videos

I hate editing with special effects or transitions or lots of overlays. Gets tedious too quickly for me so I just like to keep things simple.

For me, it's generally instrumentals. Even in songs with voals, I usually end up syncing to the lyrics first and then using the drawn out instrumental bits for filler. I just prefer to have that extra bit of connection between the footage and the music that the lyrics provide.

But I also don't care for too many instrumental songs to begin with; out of my entire music library, I have maybe three instrumental songs that aren't just there as part of some soundtrack. So I suppose that plays into it too.
