Meh the way I do is to find the little things, AR,quality,subs,logos and the overall enjoyment and story (if any) of the AMV.
And the effort given from the creator of the clip.
But at the end of the day opinion is just an opinion. XD

I usually begin by watching the AMV first. If I enjoyed the video, I make sure and tell them that. It the video has good atmosphere [how deep I can get into watching the video], then I make sure and tellt hem that as well. I then get a little more technical and look at the video quality, how well it was edited, how well it executed the concept and the overall originality of said concept.
Yet, as long as I enjoy the video, that will always get better scores. Even if its technically bad, as long as its enjoyable, I'll score it well.
