When i was playing warcraft/starcraft back in the day i needed a name for battle.net to play online. "Wolf" was taken so I added a "P" in front of it ("Protoss"/"Proto"). It's stuck.

I'm a copycat, and I like to rotate on an axis.

It's a hobby of mine.

I stuck my real name in tolkien's elf dictionary then added a Zero coz ppl would call me an orifice. I use X instead of Zero in online gaming environments.

My username + my studio name (without the "Studios" part) was my old Socom name. Mostly because I'd do the things that other people tended to avoid, like defending the base, protecting the hostages, grabbing the bomb, etc. I figure if I wanted to just get into a firefight, I'd choose games where the map's objective was to eliminate the opposing force. If I'm choosing the hostage map, I'm rescuing or defending the hostages.

After that game though, I started to just use Willen since it's shorter and a little less, um, corny?

first initial + middle initial + first part of last name = ngsilver

It's actually short for N.G.Silver since you know it's rather annoying to type that in every time as a user name (and early on in the net you couldn't have periods in user names) and it started as my pen name to protect myself and the people I knew at the time. In hind sight it isn't a very clever pen name. But hey, I thought it up in the 80's before I turned 10...

I swear I saw this topic pop up before...

Anyways. Title of supreme military commander of the Bene Gesserit + Diablo-esque suffix (which I just found out meant "Indestructible")

I went by Got2maskit for a while, mainly cause I liked Tuxedo Mask.

Then I decided I needed a name that actually sounded like a name. Found the name Maleficus, decided it'd be better with an i instead of an e.
