If you're talking about upoading directly to the org, you can't, as far as I know. You need to host your AMV somehwer else ^^;;;Tsukasa-San wrote:I can't get my vid to upload.. hlep please, I try to input the password and username i was given in the login screen and it says they don't exist
Anyhoo, I'm a total newbie (I just recently started messing around with Premiere 6.0) and I've noticed that no one likes downloaded footage. Well, believe it or not, there are some people who can only use downloaded footage. (That's right, there are computers so old they don't have DVD drives :p) I happen to be one of those people, unfortunately, and so far I don't really see the problem with using downloaded footage, as long as you're not trying to make the best amv ever or anything. In my opinion, if you're starting out and you don't have any way of ripping DVDs, using downloaded clips is a pretty good way to start.
(BTW, are there any really goos AMV makers that use downloaded footage? I'd be interested to see how much you can do with it.)

Perhaps you read you can't download local videos (for your first two weeks of membership). You can upload though. Reasons people try to find outside hosting include: making the video available to members who have joined less than two weeks ago, making the video available to non-members, or being considerate to the Golden Donut if you have a large and heavily downloaded video (e.g. Animix project).
