I've never understood why people were opposed to this sort of thing. Anyone who encounters the same issues can learn from those posts. Plus, it'll be buried soon enough, so there's no need to worry. People are too proper on forums these days. As far as I'm concerned, you should treat a post the same as you would if you were talking on IRC or something, minus, of course, the typos and spelling errors. (now this, is offtopic)

I'd rather take what we learned and then replace all the conversations with a shrunk down version that's clear and concise for future readers. I'm going to fire off a PM to TJ about condensing some of this.

That would work too. I'm just used to forums being a place where you can just talk normally, not having to deal with stupid rules and conventions about how to post (Aside from not being an idiot and such, which are more common sense.)

...but I have a question. How many video editing programs are there? Do users actually use other programs such Photoshop to even go further with their videos? How do they meld those together?

there is a lot of editing software out there
some users (Koop) use photoshop extensively in their videos (like Skittles)

I think that you use image mattes/masks/keys to use your photoshop stuff into your project. Some programs (Like adobe premiere pro and After effects) allow you to open each other's project files in the other program and apply various effects

Haha, frame by frame is hell, lol. I don't think I'd be able to do very much in freme by frame editing, lol. I don't have the patience to spend so much time on such a small portion of a video :/

I use photoshop in ever single one of my videos. It's absolutely necessary, even if my editing seems so simple you cannot tell.

I was referring to somewhat long edits, or complicated things, like rotoscoping a long animation.
