What program should I use to get the scenes etc. off od the DVD?

I use DVD Decrypter - grab it there. I find it easy and reliable enough, anyway. Takes me about 50 minutes per DVD, which is quite a reasonable time frame (I think it should be the same for every other ripper, though I can't say I've tested that theory)

I use Windows 98 and I am having a difficult time finding video editing software that will work, what I'm finding seems to designed for Windows XP.

Um, I don't have those kind of materials.... (I'm only 13). But, is it possible to use a DVD and make an AMV on Windows Movie Maker? If so, how do you do it?

I dont no what it tis either but i think its a player and compresser for AMV kinda stuff. but w/e. i still cant find a prgram to get scenes and stuff off of a DVD. and u can use windows movie maker for an AMv. i downloaded one b4.

Hey guys, I downloaded CuteFTP like suggested, but I can't log in yet, I just my name, password, and server, but no luck logging in. It says my password or username is wrong but I have checked it several times. Anyway my only guess is to give it a little time to process at the AMV end, is that possible? Thanks.

If anyone wants to check it out, it is my first AMV but not my first music vid. I kept it simple and small, but it is still good. It is called:

Outlaw Jones/Full Screen Ready and Small!
Anime is Outlaw Star
Music is BeeGees
Name is DAaaMan64

It is only 8mbs so it wouldn't hurt! Thanks guys.
