Newbies: How to make your first AMV

I am a noob, and I have read the entire guide to ripping dvds, downloaded everything I need, and done everything right so far, but now It says I need premier... I tried to download that and it said you had to pay for it! is there any version that is free? please tell me...

You do not <i>need</i> Premiere; the old guides are merely optimized for it.

The <a href="/guides/avtechbeta/">new guides</a> include instructions for setting up projects in and exporting from Vegas, Magix, Ulead, and even WMM2 in addition to Premiere.

Premiere, Vegas, Magix, and Ulead are all going to cost money; there's no way around that. However, I believe they also all have free trial versions available for download from their respective websites.

WMM2, on the other hand, is free and can be downloaded for free from Microsoft's website. Though I hear that they're no longer offering WMM2 as a standalone download and are currently only offering WMM2.1 as part of Service Pack 2... bastards.

Um another thing outside of video editing programs is the ATI TV WONDER PRO VIDEO CARD, it allows your pc to become a TV that gives a clear crystal image, you can record by coax (cable), video, and s-video, and it records in 720x480 MPEG-2 video capture format, plus it has stereo audio also.

another good thing to have if your a newber, i mean you can hook up you video game councils like final fantasy and record the game footage, or just stuff off of old vhs tapes with a vcr hook up in the coax port, it works like a dream and runs at like 70$, man if you want to record dvd stuff, you can!

damn enough of these video editing programs, this thing even comes with windows media encoder which allows you to change the formats of files en such, not only that you can change the size of the video, the compression, its a MUST HAVE for newbs, so if you don't have one, get one lol, it will help a heluva lot.

I began to make vids recently, then I find this site, but my first vid was from Bible Black, La noche de Walpurguis(hard hentai explisit), and the song from Mago de Oz. You know, I live in Costa Rica, so all the people that has watch it, love it, but is hentai, so I can put it here I guess, and also I can't participate in any match of vids. I didn't watch before any Hentai Music Video, so if you know someone tellme.
And if you are 18+ do whatever you want...

amvs is about spillin the m&ms for others to grab, en if you pour them in a bowl, people will like you, if you pour them in the dirt....>_< people will hate you, take other people's m&ms, take a brown chocolate one, make it pink, and take a yellow one and take the peanut out of it, and so on and so forth, just try not to make one crazy bag of m&ms in the end, we like them to be nice or sumtin, i duno, its all m&ms to me baby!

if you can find your own hosting, you can enter it here, just not upload it to the local server.
as for matches, there are sometimes hentai contests in the amv contests forum

that was my M&M theory of relativity with amvs lol, just imagine the M&Ms as the amvs, and the theory will all fall into place my dear noob ^_^

being an AMV scientist of sorts is fun ^_^
