Re: Justin Rollins of Shining Fingers Studio passed away
Always so sad hearing about the passing of someone you've amired for a time.
His contribution to the community will be missed by me and many others, and I send my condolences to his beloved ones - the pain of loss is never easy. It was a shame I never talked to the guy a lot, or got to meet him. But the small chats that occured really was appreciated.
His videos will remain in my keepers folder, and a day of editing and Shining Fingers videos watching, will be dedicated to Rollins.
Rest in peace, man. Thanks for the inspiration.

Well shit, that really is a shame. Rest in peace, man. At very least your creations will live on to inspire others.

I never really knew Justin, but he seemed to be a very upbeat and nice guy all around. This is quite another sad loss. May he rest in peace and his videos continue to entertain and inspire people in this community.

I still remember when I first met him and the rest of SFS at A-kon 2008. He was an amazingly cool guy and even kissed Josh's Buizel plushie xD He private messaged me from time to time on the forums to chat and was overall an awesome guy with great editing talent.
He will be greatly missed

I'll be editing too.
Never met him, but I've admired his work, and it always hits close to home when you hear of the passing of someone who shares your passion or hobby. It shouldn't matter, but it's sobering. Cancer is so horrible.
I have the AMV Hells on my iPod, and sometimes if I'm feeling anxious or panicky and can't sleep, I'll put one on - and EVERY SINGLE TIME Outlaw Star Rhapsody just cracks me the hell up. Usually waking my sleeping fiancé, but. >_>
You'll be missed, and your videos will never fail to brighten my day.

that really is a shame... He had a awesome time at Sakura-Con In April on the AMV creator's panel... He supported my contests too. I think this upcoming Sakura-Con I'll dedicate a small block to him and play all his video greats as a tribute.
