Feh... RIAA, sure they want to get the profits from MP3!

For instance, EMI recently put up tracks from a recent album by a certain band on several pay-per-download sites. Yeah, only problem is - they didn't have the rights to put those for download anywhere in the contract. Not only that, but they also didn't pay the right proportion of royalties for those online sales. And only after a fight with the band's management did they take the tracks off online sales.

See, the bastards themselves don't mind doing something that's illegal and then fighting for it! Feh...

Fear can be very inspirational. :D

neway, i'm not worried.

personally, they can sue me for a billion dollars, and i don't have a nickle. I'll just move to some third world country. if The US Gov't can't find Osama and he's the most wanted man in on teh world, they probably couldn't find me.

not to mention, where do you think the money will come from when a record label sues someone that doesn't have the money...it'll come from Tax money. Personally i say while record labels are being deusch bags about mp3s people should boycot buying music from the responsible record labels.

There is not word to describe this level of brainlessness!!
I could be mistaken, but I believe they also produce legal mp3-player cartridges. Of course, that doesn't stop someone from manufacturing blank cartridges, but I believe the idea of their mp3 players was that they were to be used legally. Hypocrates? No, at least not in this case. Stupid for thinking no one would make blank cartridges? Yes.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all run around in a darkened room, munching pills, and listening to repetitive music~Kristian Wilson, CEO, Nintendo Gaming Corporation
