Another newer and hardly-used series that could spawn some interesting videos is "Hikaru no Go". It's not exactly action-oriented, but the series has power in other areas that are just dying to be exploited musically. I have an idea for a video to this series, but to make it I'd need, uh, footage ^_^*.

"You'd have a dime."
"You'd have a dime."

Birdy The Mighty isn't out on DVD yet, and I just lost an auction for a Sony DV bridge.
Another video requires Yamamoto Yohko footage, but also LoGH, which must be somehow gotten from friends in California.
I have no method of getting unsubbed Macross7 footage yet, although Black Heaven is available.
I don't think Combustible Campus Guardress is even available in R2. Although there's enough Big-O on DVD for another video.
Strangely enough, the throwaway idea I had for Kurogane Communication is now possible.
Boogiepop Phantom is the best bet so far, but I need a software upgrade.

You know people it's kinda hard to expect folks to make videos with stuff as new as chobits, kanon, etc.
Really underused stuff is all the good old stuff. You want underused? Marmalade Boy. Hana Yori Dango. HIMECHAN NO RIBON!!! Doraemon. OK most of those aren't available in the states, so lets go for ones that are:
Gasaraki. Here's something that's bene out on DVD in the states for over a year. There are only SIX VIDEOS that use it exclusively. SIX.
Bakuretsu Hunters - there are only 9 of these that use it exclusively (although 7 are listed with japanese title and 3 are listed with english title but one's a duplicate).
Macross is listed as having only 3, although there are 4 as one (OtakuOutpost's one day more) is listed under the full title of Super Dimesion Fortress Macross. Conversely, Robotech has 31 although I think there are a couple duplicates in there.
I currently have the only completed video done to Sin: The Motion Picture listed. Came out in '99 or '00 on DVD, can't remember off top of my head. Yea it's only movie length, but there's enough action in there for any action video.
Urusei Yatsura's got only 7, one of which is a DDR project video.
You're Under Arrest has very little.
Lost Universe has been mentioned already.
There's lots of unused anime out there, as well, which isn't even on the listing here at the site. Go look at various company catalogs. There's really great older stuff out there....
but no one will use it. Why? Because if you want to impress people it's a heck of a lot easier to do it with a series they've SEEN. You aren't gonna see a video win a contest at some convention using Pretty Combat Communist Rika-chan (google it).
