A bunch of DBZ videos shown at my local anime club. It wasn't until I saw Kevin Caldwell's Memories vid that I took up dl/ing amvs and learning how to edit video.

First vid I ever saw was back in 97, I was at my buddies place, and he's all like "d00d! come look at this clip!" it was Sailor Death's Rob Zombie Dragula set to Spriggan. From that point onward, we kept downloading and never looked back.

LOL when I think about it now its pretty funny. My first video that I made wasn't really ever finished. I tried to edit with just virtual dub :P . The first fifteen seconds with hard cuts actually looked pretty good but I nearly quit learning how to edit when I was unable to import a file that probally had a different framerate and VDub didn't like that. Wow I've learned a lot about editing and video in general since then.

Did Mr.E's ever have any amv's? I don't remember planet namek having any, but maybe the site before it, I forgot, that was TOO long ago.

First amv's where also castors :) dbz videos... he's still one of the best dbz music video editors out there.
Thank yas. 8)

And MrE hated amvs with a passion.

My first AMV was Ranma½ - 500 Miles but it isn't the version here at the org. It was MUCH better.

The first AMV I saw was Particle Man done to DBZ, thought it was entertaining.
The Second was The Final Countdown done to NGE, Had no clue to what the hell was going on other then it looked cool (Barely any experiance with anime at the time)
Soon after, I bought NGE and the rest is history.

First was Caldwell's "Engel", then came:

Maboroshi's "Sleep Now"

Otaku Vengance's Kite video (to 16 Stone Pig)

Aluminum's "Smoke"

Many, many others followed.
My Eyes Are The Victim's Eyes.
My Hands Are The Assailant's Hands.

The first AMV I saw ever was Scintilla's amv to "This is Otakudom" (yes...an amv to a fan parody. :P ), which he is no longer sharing on the org.

But the first amv I saw that was not made by someone I know was probably Tainted Doughnuts. I know that was definatly ONE of the firsts. I had never heard of Cowboy Bepop or Trigun before so when I first saw it, I just thought it was a fun vid to watch. I had no idea that it was actually a crossover when I first saw it. But now I know and it is still one of my personal faves.

"Bitches" followed by Lord Rae's Come To Daddy.
