Meanings are lost in the intricacy that is "the forum world", here there are only two types of posts.....spam and not spam...or else every other spam posts on this board would fit in to one of the countless categories...and then the meaning of spam would be lost.....you don't want that to happen do you?....;_;...

I wonder how kim-chee and Spam taste. I hear that's big in South Korea.

Not bad, actually. I've munched on Spam musubi & Kimchee in the same meal before, and it was fine.

How does kimchee taste? I've heard it's spicy, but how is it beyond that?

1) Its worth the $4 or so investment to try it at least once, IMO. Check in your local market, you might find some.

2) Its easier to understand if you know what's in it. Its pickled cabbage, a little onion, garlic, salt & hot chili paste, (like those big bottles of red hot sauce you see on the table in a lot of chinese fast food places) fermented in a jar for a while, till its a little fizzy.

3) I guess the closest I could come to a description to other foods would be to say: Imagine sauerkraut laced with garlic, chinese red chili paste, and some chopped cocktail onions. But different.
