3) How many AMV's have you made?
4) About how many do you make per year?
1. My son brought some amvs home from college, I was really impressed. I liked the early music videos on MTV and these were as good as or better than many I'd seen. I wished I could do that. After watching Jin-Rho I wanted to make an amv to an old song I knew that I felt fit the anime. I found how to rip a dvd and I was on my way.
2. about a week
3. 15, one I am trying to redo since I've learned some from the guides on this site.
4. the 15 I made last year, working on a couple this year

Re: School Presentation on AMV's
I started making amv's because I thought it would be an interesting experience. Something creative and fun to do. Plus it is a good way to relieve your stress and anger or how you are feeling when you have nobody to talk to.Supaaren wrote: 1) Why did you start making AMV's?

It took me about 2 months and a week between my first and second amv, but after that the concepts and ideas started to flow eaiser plus knowing your equipment comes with time and experience.
3) How many AMV's have you made?
So far I have made 18 amvs. I'm currently working on my 19th amv and putting that one off to the side to work on a special amv for Zarax which will make my 20th.

Re: School Presentation on AMV's
I remember knowing about them for a while (at least since 2000, when my sister used to frequent Temple O' Trunks), but I never really wanted to make them until a couple years ago. I think it was around the time I had seen "Crazy Ass Violence" or "Right Now Someone Is Reading This Title" (through using Kazaa; I think I found the Org about a week later) that I really started wanting to make my own, so I just threw together a video using a method I thought would make the video look good. Thankfully I can still look back on the video proudly, and it even gets high star ratings here on the Org (high 3's, occasionally will break 4 for a while before going back down).Supaaren wrote:1) Why did you start making AMV's?
If my memory serves, my second video was done somewhere between late September and late October 2002, so about two to three months between my first and second. My second was absolute crap, by the way. A very humbling experience, indeed.2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)
26, including two Animix tracks, one Project 5555 track, and excluding a couple of jokes I did for a horrible laugh. Only about 15 of them are of higher grade, though, especially all of the past year's videos from July 2003 to present (this time I'm not including the Animix tracks or the intro I did, if you check my profile).3) How many AMV's have you made?
Well, come July it will be two years, so let's see. During my first year I made 17 vids, during my second I made 9 (maybe 10, that two years isn't up yet ). So that either means I make an average of 13 per year or that I just threw way too many together without much effort during that first year (which is true). I'd say the 9 better reflects my output. So, on average, 9 per year.4) About how many do you make per year?
