its easiest for me when i do songs that are kind of "melodic rock" because i know when to put certain scenes lol.. when the music picks up, go into a fight scene.. when it slows down, go into the dramatic scenes lol

Most of my ideas stem from classic rock and more happy sounding stuff. It's what I listen to more then anything.

With the order of vids I'm working on, I'm eventually going to have three vids done to three different Billy Joel songs all from the same album.

rap, fast-clasical, REMIXES!!!, um rock and roll is too generic for me so no rock and roll, um i also like my own remixes, like i will take that sound Jason makes from the horror movies Kee-kee kee-kee-ka-ka-ka-etc. alter it some, throw it into some trance music that is generic at different parts in the song, and make like a Sephiroth music video with it lol

im still working on what kind of music i want! course, this is a project ill be doing for the next two years. . .yes, im gonna spend two years making an ANIME MUSIC VIDEO. personally, im leaning towards techno rave, only because its fast pace will make a fight scene look real good, if i sync it right. course, i might wanna make something deep, so im also looking towards country or 80's stuff like john mellencamp or tom petty. if i really need to be rediculously unserious, go towards bob and tom!

My musical tastes vary a lot so I can get inspiration from people like Vertical Horizon, Mariah Carey, (yes the dreaded to some) Evanescence, Missy Elliott, and even anime BGM or opening/ending themes. I think I will briefly get some jpop but that will have to wait awhile. I do notice that I lean towards songs that are slower since I am more of a drama amv creator.

I like to use Ska and punk because this works nicely with action scenes and some lyrics can cause so much irony in the AMV
