It will take me a couple months to make some videos. I'm sure some editors it takes much longer for the big projects. However, if you just get really motivated you can make stuff very quickly. Or like my third video, making intentional "junk" videos for fun can take very little time.

Anyway...3 videos for me so far.

My technique and style is actually mutating right now I'm developing so many ideas and learnign so much. And technically, I've improved immensely already. My first video wasn't too bad, considering my only comparison was really a handful of DBZ AMVs and a Naruto one on Kazaa my friend showed me. None were real great. Story-wise I'm getting better, but got a long way to go. If I can make my grand project for AWA next year comes out well, I will have advanced a hell of a lot on story.

You mean to say you weren't doing that from the start?
Actually not , specially in the vids that I made before join the org , I wasn't trying to sync every single beat like I'm doing right now , and when I look at my latest vids I can find missed beats , then when I start a new vid I try to put in my mind that 'This time, I'm not gonna miss anything'.
Nothing usefull here .

Nine...it'd be alot more if scripts would actually work. :(

And yes...hell, watch my first and then my latest, which I am quite proud of. With every video it seems I get better.

I'm not moving forward until I can get scripts to work though, because I don't have the disk space otherwise. :?

Hmm, I've made a few, but I'm too lazy to count :p

Did I improve? hmm, I thought I did well with the start of "Feel the Rhythm" series and noticed that I've "kept a high level of upbeat quality" ever since. Newer vids just recently started using my own dvd ripped footage and though I used digisubs exclusively for a while [unlicensed at the time of editing and premiere] nobody I knew of complained about it. [little note was that I spent A HUGE AMOUNT of time editing on and around subtitles. Though some may not think it, I still consider that an enormous feat.]

editing with dvd footage is God Blessedly faster and looks nicer. Though I'd still like to use some digisub footage for upcoming amvs my lazy ass doesn't seem fit to edit just yet. [Elfen Lied comes to mind, I like cat ears ^_^]

Best bet would be to find my first four amvs on a file sharing program of sorts, I put them on a backup cd waaayyy back when and I think I gave it away already. Those first four vids were my noob day vids and you can taunt at my noobness when you watch them ^_^

I've done seven and I think I've gotten better. Been using these vids as opporunities to improve on Avid and Final Cut Pro (of which I'm prefering Avid). I think I'm learning to improve my storytelling abilities and such. Haven't won any contest prizes or such, but as I understand it, people seem to like my stuff ok. Now if only I can get them to be shown at cons more often...
