I've been trying and failing to come up with a theme song for Team Rocket... J+J when compared side by side don't have a lot in common, and each TR team is different from the next. What "theme" can you bring out in song? There's the TR theme "Prepare for Trouble" on the Pokemon soundtrack, but it seems too easy, like giving up.
Help me Help you!

Talk it out - Describe TR how you'd like to describe them in a vid, maybe you'll help me think of somethin.

haven't been keeping track of the threads for about the past week.. had a wedding to go to over the weekend and spent some time with family the rest of the week.. u stuck ah my goddess back on ur list.. i thought u wanted to use "good thing" by reel big fish.. did u just forget or should i prepare myself for rejection?

Well, for AHG, Star Wars themes are suddenly coming to mind. 8shrugs* Not completely sure why.
Anyway, I don't know if you know the songs from "Labyrinth", but I've got the soundtrack if you want. They always have some great lyrics- in fact, I can see several of them to Kare Kano. If you want more info on those tracks, I will say more.

How does it feel to be the enemy...
Um, just to let everyone know that I'm still here (actually, I should be posting on my Side Character thread...,) I've decided to post back - though I don't have much to say.
Kalium - actually, I've heard "Flame." Turns out, someone else decided to use that song for a video they were making (a video game music video.) I suggested something else, and while the person liked it, he went with "Flame" anyway. So, I am familiar with that song - and I do like it. I'll think about it. Although, I do have one comment about Blood: it doesn't have to be a combat-oriented song. I was thinking of doing a more mellow section, rather than the oft-seen slice-and-dice kind of Blood video people are used to seeing. For your sake, though, I do consider "Flame" to be a multi-purpose song. That meaning, I think it would work well for a mellow or action-packed video. As for "Who Wants to Live Forever," I do like Queen, but I don't like that song. So, thanks for the suggestions - I'll think about "Flame." I'm interested in that one.

This might sound funny, but they did have serious moments - especially back near the beginning of the series. (Sadly, I feel as if they've become little more than comedy bit parts in the recent seasons...) Also, if you look back to their past, they do have more in common than you might think. I don't know how much that helps, but maybe it'll be a start...?

Note the "I'm still going to wait for more suggestions" part. The reason I'm iffy on this is because I haven't decided whether I want to use the movie or the OAVs. If I use the movie, then I want a more serious song. If I use the OAVs, then I'll use "Good Thing" for sure - I can promise you that. As it is, I'm really leaning towards using the OAVs, cuz they have more variety of footage in comparison to the movie (from which I have seen endless videos with the same footage.) I want to be a little more original with this.

I was thinking about their past - If you can pull it off, I'm all for a serious TR vid. I mean, James came from a wealthy family and had everything, Both Jessie and Meowth came from humble beginings where they had to struggle for anything - The only bringing them together is their ambition to be great! BeWitched is an instrumental, cute little classic theme song - I thought of it as I understand they're coming out with a movie soon.
Early on in the SCC, I posted my favorite Pokemon video - I do hope you've seen it - I think it might change your mind about TR heading down the drain this season - Looks like something interesting is on the horizon. If anyone knows what it is - DON'T SAY! I Wanna Be Surprised!

I'm terrible sorry that it has taken me so long to reply. To be honest, I just finished watching Saikano (finally! - no I hadn't finished the series when I asked for suggestions...) and that's been keeping me pretty busy on the computer with AMV-watching and image-searching. Well, I'm back now, and I intend to respond to a few things.
pinky - sorry, but I'm going to have to shoot down all of those ideas on these grounds:
1. Even if the song is appropriate, I said no 'oldies' in the first post. Therefore, the Monkees and the Everly Brothers are really not on my list of songs to edit to.
2. As for "She's So High" and "Calling All Angels" they've already been done to Ah! My Goddess - a few times. In fact, I used to have a good AMG video on my computer set to "She's So High."
3. Lastly, I don't do blues. Too 'oldies' feeling to me.
Also, I haven't seen the Pokemon video that you posted - it can't be downloaded. Everytime I check, it's never available. Anywho, thanks for the suggestions - I'd like more, but try to stay away from the oldies, okies?
