Ok people. I am GremlinBoi. i am a fan of saiyan_pride's work and one of the guys that gives him his reviews. I can vouch that he doesn't ask me to give him good reviews. He just pesters me to give him reviews until i do. Granted im lazy and don't post in the forum and thus on my record this is my first actual post. However i have 4 GB of AMV's. Half are from here, half i have found elsewhere. several are saiyan_pride's because i like his style. He also loves the two Anime's that i love. Now let me put it simply:

You have no proof that he does what you say he does. This is what was known in the 16th century as a witch hunt. You say he's a witch therefore you have reason to burn him. Its stupid. If you want to talk to me and verify that i am not him, then go ahead. I have MSN, Yahoo AND AIM. I also have a webcam so you can look as see that im not just him in another login. Basically if you have proof, whip it out. if not...stop flaming him. Maybe all his friends are luzy bestards like me who only come on here to watch AMV's (because i LOOOOOVE Amv's) and rate him because he's their friend? Maybe he's innocent and you guys are just being pedantic because his friends are being biased.

I saw a really stupid flame here saying that because he has released so many AMV's his quality must be bad. Seriously thats bad man. Every single time i talk to him, which is every day, he's like, oh im working on a new AMV. His latest Tenjou one to the song headstrong - Trapt? I gave him that song to make the AMV with!!

I am sorry if i have offended anyone with this post but if you have proof, show it, but if you don't leave him alone. I don't want my account killed just because you guys think im him logged in differently.

Thats kind of my problem. If i wanted i could go pester all of my friends to join the org and give me ops and im sure they would be damn good but i dont because i see this as just a tad unfair.

possibly it is unfair. But that doesn't mean he should be banned or flamed or burnt. So he has fans? did you guys ever think of asking him if he could maybe tone down the number of his friends that are voting because it might be a bit biased? As i said he never asked me to give him good reviews. He sends me an amv, i watch it, you asks me to rate it, i rate it.

There's no reason to argue, or to get defensive. You (or the two of you, if that's the case) have done just what we've done - made a call to the mods.

If there were proof, they can find it and deal with the problem. If there were not proof, they would say so and lock the thread. They've done nothing this time or the last time. What does that tell us?

1) They don't care. Make as many as you want, they don't care. Let it come up and be griped about on the forum repeatedly, they don't care.

2) They can't prove or disprove it, so they do nothing.

3) They have proof (one way or the other) and choose to do nothing.

Whatever. It's up to them.

I don't believe there are more than 4 people (real separate people) being discussed here. But like everyone else in this thread, I can't do anything about that.

Let the thread sit for a while and maybe the admin will do those IP checks and settle the issue. Or at least tell us it's impossible to do a check, and that we should give the issue up as "unprovable."

I'd have to disagree with this. I have no problem with people asking their friends to join the org. I'd love it if more of my friends were interested in amvs. I don't think anyone should begrudge a person for having lots of friends who are nice enough to leave them feedback.

If I believed all those accounts were made by different friends, I'd have no problem with that. Friends are fine and something to be proud of. Making duplicate accounts is against the rules and something to be frowned on.

Lets leave this guy alone, obviously he just wants reviews...I dont think that anyone here would say that they would rather not have any reviews just because people are getting annoyed

who cares? it's his friends' opinion...which means that there is no right and wrong involved, also if you have such a big problem with it op it yourselves, im pretty sure no one who is complaining has given it an opinon

Also I dont think that friends are really biased (if they has some knowledge of AMVs) take my friend for example, he gave an opinion for my Kenshin AMV and it happened to be the lowest scoring of my 3 ops

in conclusion
RUN SAYAN_PRIDE! BE FREE! DONT LET OTHER PEOPLE YELL AT YOU!

We're looking into this matter. Unfortunately our current IP monitoring tools only work if a user has posted on the forum, which most of the op-givers for these particular videos haven't done.

We can still track down users' IP addresses, but as we don't have a convenient tool for doing so, this process will take quite some time.

So let's pipe down about this now unless anyone has concrete evidence to support either side's claim. Although if we find out that there is funny business going on, it would probably be best to confess now rather than we discover any wrongdoing and have to punish people later.
