It has stability, and it's simple.
Plus the awesomeness of copying and pasting attributes :)
Ahah! But so does Pro! : )
So does vegas. It also has a full biezer masking tool instead of that crapy 4 point thing premier has :P . Oh and it never crashes when working lossy encoded files. Actualy vegas just never crashes, at all.

That's why I use Vegas for Masking
But I actually didn't know you could mask with Premiere...

Yep. I always compress my DVD ripped footage for storage and ease of use. I couldn't work with Premiere, because I wouldn't ever be able to import any of my footage right.

Though, Honestly, I want AVS support for Vegas that, you know, works. :/

i used to use WMM, but recently it's been screwing up. I also have adobe premiere, but when i load some anime episodes, it registers the audio, but doesn't show the video, does anyone know why this might be happening?

Magix Music Maker 2005. Though, soon as I get my laptop, my roommate's gonna hook my up with the whole Adobe suite, Premiere Pro 1.5, After Effects, Audition. Y'know. But for now, I'm quite happy with Magix.

I use the wimpy version of Vegas, Movie Studio and it works really well. However, I think I could really use the advanced features of the full Vegas version. I really love the interface and it really is very stable. I also use the AMV apps to import the needed clips.

HA!
I have managed to crash Vegas 4.x TWICE.. and Vegas 5 once..

..but then again, Vegas also has a nice backup-feature so usually you don't lose much, even if you are able to crash it.
