A newbie's thought's on anime music videos in general

That's a bit of a tough one right there, because so far I've only seen one that I really liked, which was I wish I was a lesbian, and everything beyond that is mostly unchartered waters to me. So I guess I'd like some more comedy videos (already got some links to some of those, i'm currently downloading) and I like Industrial music, although I've already discovered that many AMV's with that kind of music consist of pictures of Berserk killing stuff. Not meant to be prejudice, it's just what I've seen so far. I'm also very appreciative of classical and orchestral music.

Oh and bloodyfang, thanks for bringing up Beowulf's name, it seems like his vids are worth a look.

My Husband made PlayLog.amv he likes that industrial stuff, but its Peter Gabriel - Signal to Noise to a series called BLAME! which I think might interest you.... look it up in the super search (anime)

my other suggestion is to look up the recommended forum.

Blame is the only Manga series I own and have read entirely, also the guy who drew them is the only Mangaka who's name I have ever bothered to remember, although I must admit that I can't quite recall it at the moment.

Heh Bloodyfang. I totally did not come in on a horse! A horse plus riding skill costs 90g, plus being undead, I couldn't ever get my faction high enough with stormwind.

According to my husband the series was really lacking, but it had alot of pretty visuals that can be easily used for AMV... either way, I enjoied it.

Oh, seems like you answered while I was asking. I found the two videos you mentioned, I think, although Signal to Noise, Peter Gabriel claims the anime used is JinRoh or something like that.

yes, we picked it up at Best Buy... its really short though, the whole thing is about 30 min long 6 episodes all very short and from the perspective of Cibo... if you want to see more check out my husband's AMV

Sorry about the three posts in a row, but I don't have the patience to wait for someone else to post this: I quite like your Monty Python vid. In my oppinion it completely proves that you don't have to try to give viewers seizures by flashing insane numbers of scenes at them. And I can say exaclty the same about Signal to Noise (I hope I got the right one) except it appears to be more like my kind of anime.
