This is correct. None of the apps in amvapp require the pro version.hayao wrote:For Crossover to open AMVapp/ect by my understanding you only need the standard edition right?
Or do you need the professional one?

Re: So You Want To Be An Anime Music Video Editor?
Alright kinda new to macs here... alright i have cs4 Premiere. I finish with V-dub and save it with the Huffyuv codec as .avi
Then go into Premiere and try to open the Avi file but a error message comes up and says codec missing or unavailable...
then i try doing the SimpleMovieX way and save it to a .mov and see if i can open it up that way but once again it says the codec is missing..
any clue on what i should change?

So I finally got around to reading the whole section for Macs. This is definitely helpful when I need more space than usual to make an AMV since Parallels Desktop is rather limited in HD space even however I set it.
SimpleMovieX sounds like my hero.
I thank you for writing all this. Props dude!

No prob. I am working on a more comprehensive guide which will include my recent discoveries for both PPC macs running Leopard and the new Snow Leopard operating system on Intel macs (just installed it on the macbook today. Gotta say I am happy with it). If you could help me by giving me tiger-based feedback, I would appreciate it.Unlimited Rice wrote:So I finally got around to reading the whole section for Macs. Ok I don't know if someone else has already asked this so forgive me if its like beating a dead horse. I noticed you mentioned Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 11 as a video editor. I have the program but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the ripped files to open in the program. Am I missing something? Does anyone here know of any remedy, or does anyone work with it that has the same problem? Just trying to figure out if its me or the program. Thanks.
