I generally go for how "enjoyable" a video is.. you can fill a video with amazing effects, sync, etc but if I don't enjoy watching it then I won't like it and it'll go straight in the bin.
That said, there are some videos I don't even bother watching fully because even after half a minute or so I know it's time to turn off. I guess I'm just picky or impatient. >_>

That's impatient because I'm picky but I have the courtesy to sit through a video unless it's complete crap, if it seems to have potential somewhere I'll watch it, and if it's a mep I'm just not enjoying I'll skip forward and if all the segments are basically letdowns, then I turn it off. I would say I've seen videos that seem like they are going to suck at first but later the video gets good so that's another reason I don't usually shut an amv off right away.

I survive watching entire MEPs somehow even if I don't like them, so I'm guessing it's just shorter videos I have problems with.. I do try to watch videos the entire way through, but it's just that some of them don't "tickle my fancy", so to speak.x_rex30 wrote:That's impatient because I'm picky but I have the courtesy to sit through a video unless it's complete crap, if it seems to have potential somewhere I'll watch it, and if it's a mep I'm just not enjoying I'll skip forward and if all the segments are basically letdowns, then I turn it off. Generally the videos I end up shutting off are ones where they're made up of pretty much endless, unedited clips, so that might be a reason too
