I can understand that everyone is trying not to sound hypocritical about this issue but overall I think everyone is fustrated how this guy just made money out of amv clips that were illega(As Godix Put it) and making he just made legal money out of it.

These Arabs have taken our Taxi Cabs, and our buildings, now they want take our amv clips?

Come on guys, A it's an Arab, which is a Muslim, which means they are culturally anal to some point (not that only Muslims can be that way of course).
Then there is B, no one in the community here really owns anything they are using, and don't even begin to defend against that truth in any way shape or form.
Then there is C the fact you have just been honoured by being good enough at what we do here, that someone actually wants it enough to take it.
Not to mention D it was used in a mainstream environment, where cash is involved, which means no this is NOT a fanboy reponse, you actually broke OUT of our niche.

I think it's pretty impressive.

It's like I have never asked to playtest anything in my other hobby (wargaming), I've always been asked. Translation, I am actually sought after on my merits, not as a result of my wanting a free peek before the game goes commercial.

Being used like this, it's a major league compliment. Now you can either take a bow, or shut up, but complain about being stolen, that's idiotic. You never owned anything in the first place, you lost nothing.

If you had written the song, and created by hand all the footage (not just edited someone else's footage), THAT would have been theft.

Yea! AMVs suck! That's what that one guy said and we all believe everything that's posted on the net, right?

But what do you expect, this is an Arab we're talking about. They have no regard for western law or copyright. If they want something, they just send in a suicide bomber and take it.
