- Some very popular AMV maker will die

It'll be Indian Larry all over again. 'Cept there won't be as many people crying.
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

OK I'll admit it, that made me laugh.

Good thing I still have the last beta we had of it :(

Welcome to my world Jay...although technically I think it's only been 3 years.

Anyway to add to this thread:
-KING PWOLF will just barely survive a coup d'état.
-Vlad will still be old.
-Godzilla will destroy Neo-Tokyo-2, but Mothra will come and save the day.

Project Gateway<strike> will wrap up just in time for</strike> everyone <strike>to</strike> drop their tracks at once.

All posts in the forums will be a single steaming mass of streaming !#$%$&.

blabbler will turn 113.

A mass migration will leave 82% of the world's editors living in or around Pyongyang. Possibly in the same slave mining cabin/residence.
Fix'd. Or ruined. YOU DECIDE! :P

I'm gonna make xvid encodes, regardless of the newfangled format that gives you HD quality video for 256kb in 5 years.

People will finally start being more creative about their anime selection in AMVs and stop using the same Cowboy Bebop scenes we've seen more times than Naruto and Bleach... Naruto and Bleach mangas would have been completed by then and so too the anime and thus the number of AMVs by them will drop as a new Shounen JUMP anime series takes over the hype. But during the actual 5 years since Aniplex started going all anal about the copyright infringements of their works this year will send a takedown notice to the org which will result in all Bleach AMVs being wiped off, a bigger fall in terms of numbers than the previous take down :P

Of course this means that AMVs will start to follow the pattern of newer anime which means we'll be seeing ecchi fanservice AMVs replace typical drama :P

-I think that some industries will just realize that they can´t fight copyright infridgements, because it´s just a part of today. So they decide to make it legal as long as you credit the sources right and actually bought the stuff you use. Videos as free adds and trailers.
"Fair use" won´t be just a word like remix culture. Lawrence Lessing won somehow.

-This will be for streaming sites like YT and it will be for sites like this too or at least there is a discussion about makeing it legal too. At least it´s more tolareated.

-After some more new useless and dumb distribution methods from the music industrie (USB sticks and memory cards with DRM protected albums? lololololol It´s already here!) there will be a new major distributing method. Like online selling.

-There might be even music flat rates. Pay 50 bucks per month and download as many music as you can legaly.

-Or the new "buy it or not" method, where people give away albums for free and let you decide if you want to pay or not, will be much more popular.
Time for an example: http://www.the-evolutionaries.com/
Like The Evolutionaries do with some songs and with theire album "Shape Of The Exterior". I think my next vid will be with a song from them btw =P

-Apple´s iPod is still a damn overated and overpriced product =/

-I think that there are far less DBZ vids, because it´s just too oldfashioned for new editors.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:

Some idiot will send an email to the record companies asking if they made X amv, resulting in another orgwide shutdown of videos, aswell as showing at cons, and people will just say F-it, stop making amvs, and the whole system will just crash like our economy, and the org will return to the days of its beginning where people still made amvs just as a hobby and not for the purpose of fame and competing at conventions.......

yea right
