Boy if I see a person and I think they did something truly stupid or really untalented by God I'm gonna point it out. I would too, but I wouldn't go up to them say, Hey your a blood belching vagina you grabastic peice of unorganized amphibian sh*t (insults blatantly ripped off from South Park and Full Metal Jacket) because you have a partial penis hahaha! Now pointing out that their fly is down is actually helping them, not putting them down, so they don't endure the embarrasment of having to walk around clueless that their genitals are hanging out of their front because the refused to wear undwear that day, honestly you'd think they'd noticed, feel the wind..push it back in. Not that I've actually witnessed an incodent like that..and I hope I never do.

some people do make AMVs strictly for the competition, in fact that's probably one of the biggest reasons people make AMVs.
eh..ok...indeed I don't say your wrong about that, but how fun can it be in the long run, to make vids soley for competition? Oh well, its just in my opinion, that was the point of the whole ramble, is an unedited blather of my thoughts.

It isn't the only way and it's not my way....are you starting to ramble too? I should apologize, but sorry is never good enough these days. I don't mean to push my ideas upon anyone, and to those who may have been offend by the fact that I feel that making amv's for competition may seem dull, I should have worded more carefull, but I repeat, I was rambling. Some people may find the thrill of competition enjoyable, and worthwhile, I myself don't, and saying I wonder why people still make videos just for contests, yadda, yadda, yadda....was wrong of me.
Heck I know a guy who made an AMV as a gift to his girlfriend. I know another guy who made an AMV to impress his friends and move up in the social ranks. I know a girl who made an AMV to remind her of a lost loved one. People just don't make AMVs for fun and that will NEVER be the only reason for ever making one. And yes, Cupcake, contrary to what you might so wish to believe in your world of candyland and black and white.
How dare you think that I'm as egotistical and as arrogant as you say, I never said I had anything 'against' making amv's for such reasons, and I know a guy who made an AMV as a gift to his girlfriend too...*cough* Dedicated to Ana *cough* ...yes I cough alot, years of second hand smoke. People make videos for what ever reasom moves them, and just because I complain about one reason doesn't mean the I think any other reasons is wrong.
