@Megamon:
Looks like and impressive though, but I suggest that you might want to edit in AE in a more object-orianted way. Example: Why don't you put all your solid into one background composition? Ok it's often not necessary, but it makes changes so much easier and you gain a better overview in your composition timeline

Feels like I'm climbing a stairway. Due to the setup, I can assume you work going up? I tend to do the same also.micktam12 wrote:http://s572.photobucket.com/albums/ss16 ... C02185.jpg

Lol, yeah u are kind of right
There were also alot of key frames, and im to lazy to do it in 1 video track, there were also alot of different color modes.
If you watch the AMV then u will understand.

You know 9 times out of 10 you don't even need more than 5-10 vegas layers. People get ridiculous with that shit. I've always started with a base of 3 layers and added more as they were really needed. Seems like a really cluttered and messy way to do shit with 40+ layers for basic cuts, if you're going to do that you might as well edit entirely in AE. |:

I usually stick to 3 video tracks because since im editing on a laptop and the screen isnt all that big i end up getting confused if i have way too many and i also dont like to do much scrolling.

Well yea, that's true, usually I don't go past 8-12, any higher is because I was too lazy to reorganize the clips and the one i'm putting in works best above the previous and thus i tend to add layers just for that one or two clips. I usually start with 1 or 3 audio tracks (depending) and 2 video tracks.ArashinomeAMV wrote:You know 9 times out of 10 you don't even need more than 5-10 vegas layers.
