I had 152 miniature japanese art-monkeys grammed into an old 8bit NES console frame that did the animationwork and norwegian blackdeaththeworldcomestoanendtomorrow-metal band locked in our basement that made the music. But then the Japanese Association of Freedom For Animators (JAFFA) hit our house and told me to free the chibimonkeys or face a lawsuit. They also took the finished AMVs as evidence.
So I had to find something new, and made some AMVs with only using vdub. Even though that was an exciting era I'm not really into S/M, so nowadays I use creative combination of Vegas 4.0d, Vdub and happy finnish mindfuck. I also have some other usefull little programs that I use from time to time like Goldwave, PSP7, Painter7, TMPGE and stuff..
That metal band might still se in our basement.. but I think I have forgotten to feed them.. oh, well.. *shrug*
What programs do YOU use to make AMV's?

I'm not even going to get into what I used previously. It was ghetto.
What I use now is pretty much:
Premiere 6
Photoshop 7
MSPaint
TMPGEnc
DivX (whatever's current)
SmartRipper
etc.
I got all kind of little things that I can't do without anymore, like AVISynth, PluginPAC for Premiere, and so on, But I don't know how well they constitute a 'program' in the sense that I am getting from this thread. Meh just cause there's no interface doesn't mean it night a program right? RIGHT?
My profile pretty well brakes down the process if anyones interested. I also just threw up a pic of the most rediculous thing I've ever dealt with in Premiere. The part pictured turned out beutifully!
Oh, and btw the last video I did (the only one on the Org) wasn't done using the process I describe, so don't hold that against the process
