Not to beat a dead horse, but in the end, it's nothing more than a cliche. Cliches, in and of themselves, are bad enough, since that implies its an idea that's been used a lot. Overused cliches - now that almost sounds like too much of an exaggeration. Except, in the case of Linkin Park and DBZ...I'd consider it an understatement.
And let's face it. I happen to like DBZ - it was this anime that got me hooked on anime in the first place. But it just isn't deep. Sure, there's cool characterization sometimes, like the switch-arounds of Piccolo and Vegeta...but really, the big thing going for Dragon Ball Z is that it's an action anime. There are a lot of fight scenes. So pretty much, that's just about all you can do.
DBZ is repetive enough on its own. We really don't need to see the same scene to the same music 300 times.
If you want to make one for the sake of experimentation, fine. But keep it to your own computer would be my wish - we certainly have more than enough. Show it to your friends and family - 'cause to be, well, harsh - no one here is going to be interested. Much less impressed.

"But don't you get it? Everything's relative! There's no such thing as absolute Truth."

Well, it's like I said before...

So if you want to make a Linkin Park - Dragonball Z video, go right ahead! But if you're making it because you want other people to praise you because of it, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I enjoy any video that was made with effort and care, period. I dont care what combo of anime/music you use, so long as I can see that effort and at least SOME thought into its creation, no matter how overdone the idea is.
Every person has at least somthing to offer that is new and fresh, dispite that overuse of a broad idea (ie Linkinball Z).
Just my two cents ^_^

linkinball z amv's
hey i love linkin park songs...and i like dbz...but its just that the songs are over used and the vids don't present the concepts of the songs in a different....hey i've seen ppl use "in the end" for different characters but they all were reatively the same...then i say ppl that presented different concepts into dbz through the song....the amv can be different from other vids that used the same song if they present it in a different way with style.

Not all Linkinball Z are like this - I happen to really like MeriC's "Traces Of Insanity" very much - but more often than naught, people avoid the combination because of past experiences with bad videos.
