welp, iv'e seen alot of videos some some were good ad some were bad, so in my opinion the series should fit the song its paired with, like for instance i saw Alternative Polka w/ FLCL and its one of the best iv'e ever seen, and even one my sister did, it was the Killers Klowns From Outer Space theme with Vampire Hunter D, Blood the last vampire and Hellsing and it was perfect(til the accident)

, but yeah what i think makes a good video.

Any video I can make and then continue to watch myself is probably good enough for other people. And I can watch all the videos on my profile other than my first without too much cringing (gah, stock transitions! GAH!)

If it can force the emotional response you intended it to invoke than it's a good amv. Considering that humans live through emotion for the majority of the time, focus on that. Intellectual material should be more of an accent on the video.
