Well, I know that double-posting is redundant, but I've come up with a song for Pokemon! I've decided to use "It Was You", by Ashley Ballard and So Plush, which is off of (of all places) the Pokemon: The First Movie Soundtrack. I knew that I wanted something more lighthearted for Pokemon - I just can't believe I didn't think of this before. I guess it was because I hadn't really thought of a direction for the video. I've decided upon Team Rocket (that being Jessie, James, and Meowth) as my focus. After all - as I may have mentioned before - they are the reason I began watching Pokemon in the first place. I didn't really like and of the other characters or pokemon in general, but I DID like Team Rocket. So, I started watching the show. Now, I like more of the characters and I'm one of those junkies who calls out the answer when they ask "Who's That Pokemon?". So, anywho, to cut a long story to something slightly more brief, I've decided on this:

For Blood, you could try Megadeth's "Into the Lungs of Hell" or "Set the World Afire" (both off of So Far, So Good...So What!), or Metallica's "The Thing That Should Not Be", "Creeping Death", or "Orion (Instrumental)" (Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets respectively)
Love Hina, maybe you could focus on the comedic parts and use Megadeth's "Mechanix" off of Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good!

NicholasDWolfwood - first off, thank you for being so thorough with your suggestions. I like it when people give me the artist and the song, but giving the album as well is a nice extra. Secondly, I'm sorry to say that I don't particularly like any of those songs. Well, that's a lie. To be honest, I do like "Orion," but I don't think I'd want to edit a video to it. While I do appreciate the suggestions, I don't think I'll use them. So, thanks, and keep brainstorming if you will, okay?
Laz_the_white - I decided to use the Ah! My Goddess OAVs; therefore, I'm using "Good Thing" for sure. Also, that song has grown on me since you suggested it, so I think I would enjoy editing to it. Thanks!
Um, I think I came up with a last resort song for Angel Sanctuary, and you're all going to call me a hypocrite for it, too. I know in the beginning of this whole thing, I said that I didn't want Linkin Park or Evanescence. Well...you can probably see where this is going...I've decided to use "Anywhere" by Evanescence. BUT!!! I will only use the song IF AND ONLY IF I can't come up with anything else. That's why I called it my "last resort" song. As it is, I'm still trying to get in touch with someone about another song, but I haven't managed to catch that person yet online.
I really want to get finished with this whole thing soon, cuz I want to start my video. Still, I want quality suggestions, which is exactly what I've been getting so far, so keep up the good work folks!
One last thing before the list: for Blood, I think I want an instrumental song. It doesn't even have to be something that gets the adrenaline pumping. It could be a creepy song, too.

If you don't know, "Angel" is also about vampires, conveniently enough.

Well, I have some good news. By way of a new friend, I was able to decide on songs for two of the remaining four parts. Before I tell about that though...
Merm - actually, at about the same time you suggested your song for Blood, I had decided what I was going to use. So, while I thank you for suggesting it, I never actually got to listen to that song. Thanks anyway! I appreciate it.
So, here's what I figured...

About Kare Kano...I think I may want to attempt a comedy romance song, or a lighthearted romance song. With as much humor as that anime had, I just can't see doing something super-serious (although I have seen some amazing serious videos to that anime.)
About Love Hina...as I told my new friend Warheart, to me, a Love Hina video would either have to be comedy or romance. That anime really didn't have much else in it. I suck at comedies, so that should tell you what I'm going for. I want a romance song (sort of,) but one about friendship would be better. Something lighthearted and not in the rock/metal genre would be best, I think.
So, maybe that'll help with the last two anime, maybe it won't. Either way, thanks in advance for continuing to brainstorm for me!

I'm proud of myself - I managed to come up with another song on my own! After really determining what I want for Love Hina, I started sifting through songs that I wouldn't normally think of. Something sappy, but tasteful...something that moves gently, but isn't boring...I think I nailed that song when I was listening to a CD of my mother's recently. My mom (thankfully) keeps with the times with her taste in music, but, of course, she has her favorites. The song I chose is one she really likes, I know, and it isn't really old, either. I can't say the exact year, but it sounds like something from the late 80s/early 90s era. Moreover, it's Genesis, so it can't be too recent. That all said, here's what I picked:
Love Hina - Genesis - "In Too Deep"
This just screamed Love Hina to me. Naru and Keitaro's yo-yo love/friendship thing seems to be a hot concept for AMVs, but this is my first go with anime, so give me a break (well, this is my second go if you count the short, two-minute practice video I did with Digimon. Even though I have made eight videos prior to this project, they have all been videogame music videos.) Anyway, this song should keep me a far cry from comedy with its depressing take on romance.
As for source, rather than wade through 26 episodes, I've decided to use the Christmas Special. It has all of the footage I could want for the depressing part of this video. I mean, the whole thing revolves around Naru and Kei-kun angsting about a misconception between the two of them - oh, wait, isn't that the whole series...? Sorry, I liked Love Hina, but they could have had that story over in half the time. Anywho, I may still pick a few episodes out of the series to use for the sake of a couple scenes that I was thinking of putting in this part.
Well, that was a long description for a short comment...
