We have that on opinions. 'Sides, multiply the star rating by 2. There's your scale of 1-10.

...mild necropost, I saw this and was like "Didn't I go all postal on this thread last week?" Oy. Getting old.

Yeah, but in that case it earned the rating, in your opinion. That's clearer than the first post, where it did sound like you were handing out 4s and 5s just for trying. That's clearer now.

Though... if "most" of the videos you see are perfectly timed and fit just right with the song, then I want to know where you're finding them. ;) I see a mixed bag, for the most part.

No no, that's the way the average person's FAVORITES list works, not their star ratings.

:P
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Hum.. the most given numbers in my star ratings are 4's and 5's but that doesn't mean that most of the videos i've seen are perfectly timed and so on. There are 5 numbers to give and just because those two are the most given out doesnt mean that thats the majority of the videos i've seen. It could be 4's and 5's add up to 31 and 3's 2's and 1's add up to 39. I'm not saying thats the case, but in this case the bulk of the videos are in the 1-3 range. So basicly your math doesnt add up.

I still go by this system. ^_^ If you truely want to get detailed that is what an op is for. A star rating is an overall rating of a video. If you want to specifically rate timing you can rate the action sync in an op.

Ah, now I see what you mean by adding up. Actually, if you have 31 4/5s and 39 3/2/1s, then you still have proportionally more good videos than average or bad. Because you're dividing 31 by 2, and 39 by 3.

But you said you gave out mostly 4s and 5s, earlier, which is what my comment came from. "If the timing is good and the song fits, it gets a 4 or 5."
