I started making AMVs in late 2001 in my Sophomore year in High School. Mr. Benedict showed me how to make videos using two VCRs. I made SEVERAL videos (mostly Robotech videos) in his studio, but during the summer of 2002, I noticed that I could make AMVs in the comfort of my own home! I put some Robotech footage together, THEN I hooked the video jack from the individual VCR into the Video Input on the TV, and the audio jack from the DVD player into the Audio Input, I rolled the tape, hit record, and started the music where I wanted it to start. Most of my future AMVs were made like this, but then came June of 2005, when somebody taught me how to use Adobe Premiere, and now making AMVs has never been easier.
