I guess my favorite kind of video to make is a really fast-paced action and/or comedy. (Though I have yet to make a pure action-vid without any comical elements, so I'm partial to comedy.) However, I always need a point with a vid I make, so they usually turn out as character profiles as well.

I do have one (or two) sentimental videos planned for the future, but it's definitely not something that will become a habit. I usually can't even stand watching them myself.

I make whatever I want to make. If I have a comedy idea, I edit comedy. If I have an action idea, I edit action. If I have a drama idea (I seem to have many of these), I edit drama. I don't care if don't like them, because I do, or else I wouldn't edit them.

INUYASHA IS GAY. EVEN IF HE WASN'T JUST A CARTOON, HE STILL WOULDN'T SLEEP WITH YOU, MIDNYTE. ON TOP OF THAT, YOUR AMVS DON'T EVEN QUALIFY AS AMVS. YOU GOT NOTHING.
Crappy quality and editing are not "effects."
Nor are subtitles, or pop-frames. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you captured the AS footage and just need to learn how to compress footage.
i like to do action/drama i also like to do vids with lots of effects in them^^
not even sure I did that right ~_~

Either way let me say something real quick.

No one asked you what you thought of someone's video on this thread. If you have a problem with their video making methods, then take it to PM's. Insults and comments like that is something I would expect from a third grader.

My advise would be to just shut up before someone actually gets on and makes to take a foot up the a**.

As for the topic, I'm not that great at action videos so I try to stay away from them. I enjoy a good drama one that comes out really well.

I mostly like to make action AMVs but I always try to include a dramatic aspect that sometimes is really hard to get but I just love that kind of AMVs. I also try to make my videos be serious but that effect is really hard to reach.

Saying 'This is my first AMV' is no excuse for a short comment.
