Very busy. AMVs are actually low-key for me.
On the AMV front
-thinking of finishing my work for ProjeKct Life
-AMV Telephone!
-Constantly playing with new possibilities for individual videos. Once AMV Telephone gets me kick-started, I'll probably get a bit more active and have these ideas made into something in May-June (maybe something for a contest, finally?)
-Also slowly working on a strange non-AMV video, thinking of where to go with it and such.
Otherwise, AMVs are actually a small section of even my hobby activities. Most of my effort lately has been going into moderating two (well, if Demonseal needed moderating, would be 3) forums, writing a (official, sort of) game review, co-managing a large WWII submarine simulation campaign (~100 participants), translating lyrics of various songs from Russian, reading up on history and politics (and being a news junkie), trying to keep some sort of social life, and who knows what else...
How busy are YOU?

I work 35 - 40 hours a week editing film, and then I come home and edit about 10 - 25 hours a week on AMVs. Video art has pretty much become my life so I don't have much time to do anything else.
I haven't read all the posts in this thread but I can't express enough what a BAD idea it is to rush your video for a convention. Videos are eternal. Once you release a video, it will exist in the ethos until the end of electricity. In 6 months no one is going to care about how the screening of your video at AWA went. Hell, no one gives a shit about the Masters Winner 2 weeks after its over. But people can watch your videos forever, and it would be a shame to make them watch a rushed and shitty video that made it into a contest that everyone has forgotten by now.

i agree with beowolf, but i rushed my last vid a bit for Anorth and it turned out ok, there were some loose threads i would of liked to tie up but the whole reason i even started the vid was so i could enter it in my first con. so if it didn't make it what's the point of the vid :s ...but still, don't rush ur vids ppl.

I'm busy right now. Only because I had a revelation and decided that was it I'm not making any more videos that suck.... I'm currently doing a amv that I hope will be so much better than my previous ones its scary. I have tried to do as much planning as possible. Since i finally figured out how to MASK on Sony Vegas 6.0 my videos will be significantly better.
