Maybe twice a year if I'm working on something new I might re-watch one or more of my amvs to see if there's an effect or a certain edit I want to recreate, or trying to copy something I did before. Other than that, no.
I do listen to the songs I've used in my amvs over and over again and play the amv in my mind, though. Then I wonder should I have done this or that, used another scene, etc.

"Didn't I say something clever earlier?"
"Dunno, I was probably asleep when you said it."

I am the complete oposite people keep saying mine are really good but I keep seeing every flaw and mistake that I have done in my amv's and it's almost painfull to watch them. I like to brag and show my good work to people, but it's really weird cause on the inside I cant help thinking that my videos suck. I guess I'm too much of a perfectionist.Inkwolf wrote:I know I'm a relative noob and sucky at making AMV's....but I love watching my own. They are made with songs I love to hear and my favorite animes, and are tuned especially to my sense of humor. Even though I can see ALL the rough spots, I like to watch them aghain and again and again...
Any ways this is just something I have to get over because I can never seem to finish any AMV I make because of it.

I watch my own a lot during the editing process, speacialy when it's almost finished.
I do this because every time I watch it, its gets more boring and less good. So that way, I'll start getting dissastified and I'll try to improve even more. But sometimes I just get sick and won't touch the amv for weeks.
After it's done, I don't watch it a lot.

Of course what I made myself matches my taste best, so I usually watch my own videos for quite a while after finishing them (I don't count the previewing during the editing process). But the more I watch the vid the less I seem to like it and eventually I stop watching it and move on to a new project.
Watching old stuff made by yourself is pretty good for a laugh btw.
