how can you stand a 40" monitor?? lol I tried a 27" 720p HDTV monitor and even THAT got on my nerves, I DON'T suggest you use an HDTV as your primary monitor. At 40" I assume it's 1080p, but ESPECIALLY if it's 720p. You'd be better off buying a 1600x1280 or whatever it is 19" monitor. HDTVs are really nice for watching amvs though... just cuz the rez is so low :o but making an amv on an hdtv is a nightmare and don't even start on gaming, your stuck at 1280x720... either that or you spent WAY too much on 1920x1080.

I still say hdtv monitors are for the rich who have nothing else to spend their money on lol. If I still went with a HDTV monitor I'd go dual monitors, the resolution is much too low for desktop publishing.
