The Music, the flow, the powerful parts that match the song. Certain scenes that match a dramtic part of the song that just makes your spine tingle.

One of my favorite, but not perfect examples woul be a Naruto AMV done to HIM's Sacrament. It's on this site and Yo u Tu Be made by a user called shiva. I loved how three quarters into the song where it got very dramatic, she started revolving betweens scenes of Naruto's past, Haku's mask falling off his face, and the knife that naruto threw to that one water ninja, cant remember his name.

While the song was not that intense, the scene selections and flow used by her were just awesome. I think a case where thr editor made the song look good.
