I like mine

It's a fine line you tread when putting a semi serious phrase on the banner between kinda cool and total cheese (I think my "your way" phrase is pretty cheesy actually, but hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time, and if I remember correctly, the time consisted of alot of Vicaden for my tooth

), so I wont harp on the cheesy line banners (though some of them are reeeealy cheesy).

The things I don't like are the constant inside jokes that only a small percentage of the people who actually visit this site would get. Things like the waiting for a vid to download banner, the he/she left a bad op/no op etc. etc.
Still, if that is what creams your twinky, who am I to say that it's bad. Just put effort into it.

Personally I always approach banners as more of an advertisement thing, trying to appeal to new people and get them to come in and see what it's all about.
