What musical style do you prefer to use?

But in actuallity, I use (and like) any genre... if its good enough for my idea. Probably the only thing I won't touch is the realy heavy metal type music.

When I listen music, If I get inspiration and I know a anime where it fits best I'll use it.

Mostly heavy rock, Industrial, Achoustic Guitar songs. And that I like.

I like remixes mostly, rap remixes are pretty cool, hyped-up modernized classical music, the Kill Bill soundtrack was good, um video game music is good at times, especially the final fantasy remixes, um club and trance are good too, anything modern with the super-fly coolness i find it works anytime for me

I feel the genre of music i like is being over looked by the amv community, there is a hand ful of amv with hip hop or R&b music, and alot of them are poorly done(like music playing to unedited scene0

I like to use music that I like. I won't make a video to a song if I don't like to listen to the song. To me that doesn't pass the sanity check. But then I only say that because I do this only for fun and no other reason. I won't tolerate a song I don't like just because it fits to an anime I have. There really are some songs I've heard that are like that.

But to answer the real question I use rock/metal music.

And as a amv watcher, i can enjoy a amv if it is really good, but part of me wishes it was in a genre i like, but the popular opnion is music in the various Rock categories(punk , metal etc...), and not in the hip hop or R&B, and the best amv creators dont share my interest in music
