Can someone help me out? I try to use premiere, but when I import episodes of naruto and such, it only registers the audio... it plays fine regularly, and even in premiere it plays (just without the video...)

X2

I like premire 6.5 because it is intuitive and pretty quick. I've also used 6.0 and I didn't like it at all interestingly enough. I'd like to move to Pro but it is incredibly expensive. I also have my eye on Vegas.

For beginners who want to get (read: legaly own) software I would recomend taking a look at Magix, for only $60 you are unliky to find a better deal.

And so is making lossless exports of what you've got so far every so often.
I've built up a habit of hiting ctrl+s every 30 seconds with just about anything. Dont even realise I do it anymore, but its saved my ass a few times.

what's the point in using both premiere 6.5 and pro?

Anyway I use premiere pro, I started to use 6.5 but it crashed too many times :|

If its crashing too many times then try and get yourself onto google and find out how to correct those errors, in the long run (if you brought it) you could try and get another version of premiere, pro is out there its worth taking a look at it.

I use vegas 5.0 it is the easiest and has most of the stuff that adobe premiere and after effects has.

I have played around with Premiere 6.0 and Vegas Movie Studio 4.0. and I agree that the Vegas interface is definitely very intuitive and stable. I'll hopefully be getting Vegas 6.0 soon so I'll be sure to give some feedback once I get it.
