For me, I just do it because it gets my vision and hearing to work with each other in a unique way. It's just an engaging and entertaining experience.

Although mine are currently either unavailable for download or just really stink, I really want to prove my existence. I want someone to say that they liked what I made and that they appreciate what I did. That's true motivation for me. The support of the AMV community has led me to continue creating. It's almost like a stress reliever and a stress creator all at the same time. The hassle of making a video and then the relief of completing it go hand in hand. Challenges make me happy, as long as I succeed. But most importantly, to give back to the community what it so gladly gave to me with open arms. (I've been slowly working for almost a year on one of my vids by rotoscoping which I think I used that term correctly)

I hear you there. After work it nice to do some work on an AMV, kinda makes me feel like I am doing something I want to do instead of always doing something someone else or others wants me to do.
