Ah...I do that, too. Except my response is usually "Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it." But, you know, that's exactly how I feel.Knowname wrote:...I am particularly perterbed by the generic 'Thankyou for reviewing my video.'
There are only so many ways to tell a reviewer that I get all warm and fuzzy when I know they liked something I made. I'm grateful they gave my vid a chance, and I'm happy that they liked it. So that's what I say. It's really redundant, and very simply phrased, but it's my response to any non-flaming review.
Of course...if they tell me details about what they like or didn't like, I usually thank them for the detailed feedback. And I respond to the things they point out in the review, especially the questions and bad things, or when they like and notice things I really liked myself. But if they just stop by to tell me they liked it...yeah, my constant response is the old thanks for watching, glad you liked it.
That's one of the reasons I feel bad responding to reviews, I've run out of new ways to express my gratitude for that warm fuzzy response and giving the same words to everyone is as bad as giving nothing to anyone. Can't win. >.<
I don't get the same people making the same mistake twice. It's just that I *warn* about the content in every single video I make. Even if it's het, I tell exactly what the pairing is in the vid description. They just don't bother to read it and then gripe at me like I didn't warn them ahead of time. I even had someone complain that Ego Trip was full of guys...and that's the entire point of the video. o.OKnowname wrote:lmao! Mina, I know if it's yours (or Inverse' or STB's and a hand full of others), to EXPECT Yaoi -_-.... heh.
/me smart!
