So it wasn't the poor grammer and whiney emo attitude that tipped you off?Kariudo wrote:I didn't mean it like that...it's just what I felt the question was getting at.
it seems like the question was really saying, "are you old? because I may not be...and it may be easy for you to understand because of your age"
...something along those lines

Isn't it horrible to spell "grammar" wrong, especially when you're making a comment about someone who can't spell? It fills me with glee.BasharOfTheAges wrote:So it wasn't the poor grammar and whiney emo attitude that tipped you off?
Let's not let age get in the way, at 13 you already have enough brain cells to understand editing. I was 14 or 15 when I started out, and I'm hardly what you would call a genius. Of course, my first vids sucked, but most people's first do.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

it was already discussed in PM that age doesnt really matter when it comes to learning how to do something, i can understand that a 6 yearold will not pick up on the terms used in the guides and all but no point in continuing to talk about age as a factor for this person (who is 14 by the way) its already been settled

WMM is noutoriously unstable. There's not much to be done about it. There is no "best" software, but there are a lot of choices availible.LordChi wrote:My Win movie maker keeps shutting down, does anyone know where I might re download it for free? What is the best software for creating AMVs aside from Premiere?
[Please PM me suggestions, TY]

Now, I am not asking where to DL anime, I just wanna know some things:
Is it possible to take DLed anime footage and put it in a special program to raise the quality of it? I so what kind of program allows you to do this?
I also want to know, what determines the quality? Is it the codec or something?
I know I may sound like a person who isn't serious about AMVs, but you have to undertsand, I have been spending all my money on editing software such as Vegas and After Effects and such that I haven't the money to buy any DVDs right now, and maybe not for some time.
This is why I am forced to use DLed footage. But there is another theory I have. I'd like to know if any of you can answer this:
If I were to use my Camtasia Studios recorder to record the episodes off of You.Tube, or some other site that has the episodes uploaded on it, and then import those recordings into a program that I can rip the certain clips that I want for the AMV, would this work? And would it have bad quality because I am recording it?
Also, can I use AviSynth, or some other ripping programs that are used for DVD footage on DLed or recorded footage?
I hope someone can answer my questions. Thanks in advance.
