I think I'm bipolar and go through many "amvs are meh" and "OMG I LOVE AMVS" phases. Right now I'm somewhere in between.

I hate AMV's using new anime as footage. To me, anime needs to be at least 2 years old before I accept it as proper viewing material. So stuff like K-ON or Garden of Sinners is like... MEH to me. Toradora is the only exception to this rule, but Toradora IS the exception to every rule regarding anime.

I don't keep AMV's. If it's crappy/shitty I toss it. If it was a masterpiece of artwork but bugged me, I toss it. The only AMV's I keep are the ones that I genuinely liked and have as part of a playlist that I play while studying/doing homework. That being said, I've accumulated exactly 110 AMV's from 2006-Present. About 40% are from 2009 and 2007, 10% are from 2008, and 50% are from 2006 and earlier.
