There are alot of people out there who need the read the guide here:

espically the part about useless and good opinions. I have found flaws in all my favorite videos. and posted as such, and never given a 10 in any catagory. (maybe i should have given failed experiments in video editing a 10 in oraginality) people ignore the oraginality number and just give it the same as everything else.

videos for noobs by noobs, should be videos for noobs by anyone. Noobs think anything is perfect 10s as long as they like the song and the anime. They don't consider the catagories. oraginality, and action/sync are the most neglected. followed by effects then video quality then audio quality. and then reviewability. overall the noobs are free to give 10s if they like, but they need to consider the catagories much more closely.

It is very rare for me to give straight 10's on videos. I've oped 273 videos and only 9 got straight 10's. And those video deserve it. They got the normal 500-1,500 word op I give out.

You speak as if you were never a noob, but it seems on the calendar that you just joind between 5 or 6 days ago

I've been wanting to do an AMV using the Japanese SD Gundam OVAs for some time now...the trick is, there are no DVDs for it, even in Japan (the group that fansubbed it seems to be using good quality VHS rips)

I still plan to contact them about obtaining the raws instead, but still...just saying, there ARE cases where the DVD isn't an option

That said, so I haven't wasted my post here

Song choice...it can go either way...I admit there are some vids where the song was enough to sell me on it, however, sometimes there can be a vid with a song I love, and the vid itself still manages to be rather...bleh...

It doesn`t mean he hasn`t been a creator for a longer time. Plus, we were all noobs at one point (maybe not Kevin Caldwell, but still). He`s right to be pissed by noobs either way as long as he isn`t one himself. If he is, not only is he a noob, he`s a hypocrit noob and he should burn in hell
