My name is just a word I conjured out of thin air one day while I was idling in class in 5th grade. I was trying to think of a cool alias for this shooting game I was playing at the time (it's called Infantry. Some of you might have heard of it). So I wrote down the word "kill". And I thought, "Hey, 'y' can replace 'i', and 'q' can replace 'k' ", so my online alias became qyll. It's supposed to be prounounced "kill", but just about everyone I've come across pronounces it "quill", so I guess I'm fine with that.

Not that I really adore my username now, but I've been using it for so long for everything (10+ years) that I've never bothered to change it.

Back when I was maybe 15 I was making a website on Tripod/Lycos and I couldn't use my old nickname of Aries, which is always taken on every single website ever, so I knew I needed something new anyway. My name is Angel, so I put Angel and Lycos together...boom, Angelyco. I still love it.

A bit of a story actually..

It was about summer of 1997, just finished with school and was headed home on the bus. As usual, everyone in the back was all loud and causing mischief. One of them staring out the window gets wide eyed and yells out "omg look out!!" The bus driver looks at the side view mirror and there's a trex chasing us. Just as it's about to grab the back of the bus, a giant robot comes in and they fight it out. Later on, we find out that the bus driver was cheating on his wife, with the dinosaur.

And that's how Christmas came to be.

Oh, and my name, is just a made-up word.

my real name is Erik. My favorite color is blue. Erik spelled backwards is Kire. Kire + blue = kireblue

First and foremost, it's because I'm a Sad Olde Goth. "Corpse goddess" is also a term for the Valkyries of Norse mythology, the "Choosers of the Slain". They've always been some of my favourite mythological figures and the phrase always rang a bell for me.

It's also the name I use for many of my mmo toons, especially the necormancers.
